Tennessee Homeless Solution is an advocate for those who are currently experiencing or who have experienced homelessness, to prevent and end homelessness while ensuring the immediate needs of those experiencing homelessness are met and their civil rights protected.
SSVF (Supporting Services for Veterans Families)
The Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program (SSVF),is a supportive services outreach program operated by West Tennessee Legal Services and Tennessee Homeless Solutions.
CoC (Continuum of Care)
According to HUD, a CoC is “a community plan to organize and deliver housing and services to meet the specific needs of people who are homeless as they move to stable housing and maximize self-sufficiency.
HMIS (Homeless Management Information System)
HMIS is a secure web-based centralized database where non-profit organizations across our community enter, manage, share and report information about the clients that they serve. It is similar to an electronic health record system in a hospital.
ESG (Emergency Solutions Grant)
Tennessee Homeless Solutions operates a Rapid Rehousing program in Henderson, Decatur, Hardin,Chester, McNairy, Lauderdale, and Dyer counties. Our case workers seek out and approaches the homeless individuals across the service area with the option of providing emergency shelter.
